- A similar tender was issued in May-June but did not proceed.
- Revised Tender: The ministry has now issued a revised tender with updated terms.
- The scope of the DPR will include highway alignment, pavement design, structures, intersections, service roads, traffic management plans, safety audits, as well as assessments of environmental and social impacts, along with estimated costs.

- Before work begins on DPR, a feasibility study will be conducted, and the decision on DPR will be based on the outcome of the feasibility study, News18 reported, citing official documents.
-The feasibility study will include traffic studies, axle load surveys, alignment evaluations, preliminary topographical analysis, and lane configuration planning. Interested parties must submit their bids by October 15
-While the entire work is planned to be completed within nine months, the NHAI is authorised to suspend the contract at the outset or feasibility stage if viability concerns arise.
