Delhi Air Quality Today: With every passing day, the average temperature in Delhi continues to drop, and the Delhi AQI is rapidly approaching a 'severe' situation. Delhi Residents woke up to a thick layer of smog as the AQI slipped to 385, turning the air quality 'very poor'.

While overall Air Quality in Delhi remained in the 'very poor' category, it turned severe in many places, with Bawana recording an AQI of 436, according to the data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).

According to data released by the CPCB on Sunday, the overall air quality in Delhi at 7 am improved by one point from the AQI at 6:15 am on Saturday, which stood at 386.

Station-Wise Delhi AQI: Situation Turns Severe In Bawana, Anand Vihar

- Out of 37 Air Quality Monitoring Stations in Delhi, several recorded 'severe' AQI, with quality deteriorating rapidly in many others. Here's the station-wise Delhi AQI

- The primary pollutants remained the tiny airborne particles, PM10 (particulate matter measuring ten micrometres) and PM2.5 (particulate matter measuring 2.5 micrometres)

- Anand Vihar, which often records a low level of AQI, saw a nominal improvement, yet remained in the 'severe' category, as it registered 412 AQI, improving from Yesterday's 419 at 7 am.

- Bawana remained one of the highly hit areas, with the area monitoring station displaying a severe AQI of 436, a point better than 437 on Saturday at 7 am.

- Ashok Nagar, which often contributes to deteriorating numbers, stood at 422, worsening from 409, which it was at 7 am on Saturday.

ITO- 417, Dwarka Sector 8- 378, IGI Airport - 338, Jahangirpuri 424, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium -385, Lodhi Road-IMD- 362, Major Dhyan Chand Stadium 370, Mandir Marg- 380, Najafgarh 364, Punjabi Bagh-409, and Wazirpur- 435 (Second worst after Bawana)
