Delhi AQI: Delhi is set to experience a further drop in temperatures as winter settles in the national capital. The India Meteorological Department has predicted that shallow to moderate fog will persist over the city on Friday.
The weather forecast indicates that the maximum temperature will reach around 27 degrees Celsius, while the minimum could drop to a chilly 10 degrees Celsius. As nighttime temperatures fall, residents are noticing a significant drop in warmth, with nights now feeling particularly cold.
Delhi Weather Forecast
According to Supreet Kumar, a scientist at the Delhi Meteorological Centre, these cold conditions are expected to continue until November 30. He stated that while the nights will remain cold, the daytime will see mild sunshine. Morning, evening and night temperatures are likely to feel colder, with light fog expected to linger. However, clearer skies and sunshine are anticipated after midday.

In terms of air quality, Delhi is currently facing significant pollution levels, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 420. Nearby areas are also experiencing high pollution, with Ghaziabad at 357, Noida at 326, and Gurugram at 329.

Delhi NCR Temperature Today
The weather conditions for today show a maximum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius in Delhi, with a minimum of 10 degrees. In Noida, the maximum is expected to be 25 degrees, with a minimum of 12 degrees. Ghaziabad will see a maximum of 26 degrees and a minimum of 12 degrees, while Gurugram is forecasted to reach 26 degrees at its highest, with a low of 13 degrees.
Looking ahead, meteorologists warn that the weather will remain stable until the end of November, but a change is expected in December, bringing colder conditions. Residents are advised to prepare for increased chilliness as the month progresses, especially towards the end of December when severe cold may set in.
