Delhi Assembly Election 2025: Amid a fierce election campaign for the Delhi assembly election, AAP leader Manish Sisodia and BJP MP Manish Tiwari got engaged in an argument on the social media platform X. Sisodia slammed BJP MP Manoj Tiwari for allegedly sharing an old edited clip of AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal in which he allegedly mocked BR Ambedkar. In the viral 9-second clip, Kejriwal could be heard saying, "Someone was saying that whoever has written the Constitution must be drunk while writing it".

In a post on X, Tiwari alleged that everyone will be able to see the true colours of Kejriwal after listening to this video. "I found this video of the head of Delhi's Aam Aadmi Party. After listening to which, everyone will be able to see his true colours," Tiwari wrote.

However, Manish Sisodia countered him by alleging that the BJP MP was spreading a misleading video and shared a 19-second clip mentioning that Kejriwal was talking about the constitution of the Congress party instead of the country's constitution. He further blamed Tiwari for disrespecting the post of an MP. "Constitution of Congress party says no worker shall consume liquor. Someone amongst us said the one who wrote the Constitution must have been drunk while writing it," Kejriwal was heard saying in the full clip.

In his post on X, Sisodia urged Tiwari to stop behaving like a "cheap troll" and respect the post he held. "You are an MP, have some shame. You are tweeting lies. If not yourself, at least respect the post of an MP," Sisodia said. Tiwari further reshared the post from Sisodia, emphasising that a decorum should be maintained in such arguments.

Tiwari stated that even though Kejriwal was talking about Congress' constitution, he should have mentioned it separately, as there is a difference between the constitution of India and the constitution of Congress, he pointed out. Assembly elections in Delhi are due in February 2025, and both major parties of the state, BJP and AAP, are luring voters by announcing several schemes.
