Delhi Baba Scandal: Three women aides of Delhi Baba, accused of sexually harassing 17 female students at a private institute in Delhi, have been arrested. The three women held various positions at Sri Sharada Institute of Indian Management in Vasant Kunj, where Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, alias Parthasarathy, served as chairman.
Swami Chaitanyananda, popularly known as “Delhi Baba”, was accused of sexually harassing female students at a private institute in Delhi in August. The complaint also named three women who allegedly persuaded victims to comply with his demands and delete evidence against him.
According to the police, Shweta Sharma (Associate Dean), Bhavna Kapil (Executive Director), and Kajal (Senior Faculty) have been arrested on Thursday for their involvement in abetment, intimidation, and the destruction of evidence related to the case.
During interrogation, the women confessed that they acted under Swami Chaitanyananda’s instructions, pressuring female students to comply under the guise of maintaining discipline. Earlier on Sunday, Swami Chaitanyananda was arrested at a hotel in Agra and has been placed in police custody for five days.
