Delhi Blast Case: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday produced Al-Falah University founder Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui in court after arresting him from the office of a trust in Jamia Nagar, Delhi. The agency detained Jawad and his brother and questioned them about money laundering-related transactions and suspected funding. The action is being taken as part of the money laundering investigation into the terrorist attack in the Red Fort area on November 10. At around 1 am, Additional Sessions Judge Sheetal Chaudhary Pradhan of the Saket Court, while hearing the case, accepted the ED's petition and ordered Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui to be remanded in ED custody for 13 days.
On November 10, a high-intensity blast ripped through a car near Red Fort in Delhi, killing 13 people and injuring several others, hours after the busting of a "white collar terror module" in Faridabad. The arrested included doctors linked to Al-Falah University.
In the coming days, the agency will examine digital evidence, financial documents of the trust, and transactions related to the network allegedly used. Other information related to Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui and his brother is also under investigation.
The university is at the centre of an investigation into the Delhi Red Fort Blast as the suicide bomber is said to have a connection with the university.

Al-Falah Red Fort Blast Connection
Several doctors arrested in connection with the Delhi Red Fort Blast have allegedly had connections with Al-Falah University. Dr Umar Nabi, the suicide bomber and the key accused of the Red Fort blast, which killed 13 people, had links with Al-Falah University.
Officials said the ED is probing at least nine shell companies linked to the Al-Falah Group, all registered at the same address.
The Al-Falah University, which runs a medical college and hospital, is located in the Dhouj area of Faridabad, Haryana.
