Delhi Blast: Delhi Police have obtained CCTV footage showing the suspect’s car entering and exiting a parking area and are actively investigating the incident. According to the polce , the man had reportedly gone to Old Delhi Railway Station to drop off a relative before the blast. At least eight people were killed and several others injured in a powerful explosion near Delhi's Red Fort on Monday evening around 7 PM, when a Hyundai i20 exploded at the Subhash Marg traffic signal.

The footage shows the vehicle, bearing registration number HR 26CE7674, parked near the fort for over three hours, entering at 3:19 PM and leaving around 6:30 PM. The video captures the suspected suicide bomber’s hand on the window, while the driver appears to be wearing a blue and black T-shirt. Additional clips show the car moving along a busy road in the national capital.

Delhi Police are reviewing more than 100 CCTV recordings, including footage from nearby toll plazas, to trace the vehicle’s entire route toward Daryaganj.

Police have filed a case at Kotwali Police Station under multiple sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), the Explosives Act, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

DCP North Raja Banthia said, "An FIR has been registered at the Kotwali police station. The case has been registered under sections of the UAPA, Explosives Act and BNS. Teams from the NSG, Delhi Police and FSL are present at the spot and are investigating the entire crime scene. The investigation is ongoing. There are some body parts in the car (in which the blast took place). The FSL team is collecting them; so let's see how it connects."

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in a statement to ANI, confirmed that the explosion took place inside a parked Hyundai i20 near the Red Fort around 7 pm, injuring several pedestrians and damaging nearby vehicles. He said that preliminary reports indicate some casualties. Shah added that security agencies, including teams from the Delhi Crime Branch and Special Branch, reached the site within minutes of the blast and later visited the injured victims at the hospital.
