Delhi Crime: Woman Shot At During Argument Between Relatives Over Sharing Pizzas In Seelampur, Four Arrested

In a frightening incident, a woman was shot at by her sister-in-law’s brother following a heated over-sharing of pizzas in Delhi's Seelampur on Thursday. The initial investigation into the matter revealed that the victim's brother-in-law Zeeshan brought pizzas for the entire family on Wednesday.

He distributed pizzas to everyone in the family, including Saadma, the wife of his younger brother Javed. Zeeshan's wife Saadiya, who had a dispute with Saadma, got upset over her husband sharing food with her sister-in-law and this led to a fight between the three, news agency PTI reported citing officials.

Following the dispute, Saadiya called her four brothers on Thursday, identified as Tafseer, Shahzad, Gulrej and Muntahir to her in-laws' house in Delhi’s Seelampur.

When Sadia's brothers arrived, a confrontation erupted between her family members and her in-laws. "During the altercation, Muntahir fired a shot that struck Saadma, the wife of Zeeshan’s younger brother Javed. She sustained a gunshot wound to her abdomen and is currently receiving treatment at GTB Hospital," officials said.

All four people have been arrested by the police. The incident came to light after Seelampur Police Station received information from GTB Hospital that a woman with a gunshot injury was admitted to the facility. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
