Air India Flight Returned: An Air India flight, AI2913, operating from Delhi to Indore on Sunday, returned to Delhi shortly after takeoff due to a fire indication in the right engine. The cockpit crew received the alert and followed standard safety protocols. 

As per the statement issued by Air India, as soon as the cockpit crew received a fire indication, the crew opted to follow the standard procedure and returned to Delhi after shutting down the engine.  The Air India flight has landed safely in Delhi, and passengers aboard the plane are currently being shifted to another craft, which will fly to Indore.
"Flight AI2913, operating from Delhi to Indore on August 31, air-returned to Delhi shortly after take off, as the cockpit crew received a fire indication for the right engine," the Tata Group-owned airline said without providing further details.
 
 
The flight has been grounded for inspection, and the air safety regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation has been duly informed of the incident, the airline said. 

Kochi-Delhi Air India Aborts Takeoff

Earlier, on August 18, Air India flight AI 504, scheduled to reach Delhi from Kochi, opted to abort takeoff due to a technical issue and returned to the bay, leading to an unexpected delay for Passengers. 

According to Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL), "A technical issue caused an Air India flight bound for Delhi to abort the takeoff. Air India is rectifying it and has informed Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) that they are changing the aircraft. The expected new time of departure is 0100 hrs."
