Delhi Metro Timings On Sunday:  The Delhi metro will be operational from 3:15 AM on Sunday due to the Delhi Half Marathon. As a result, except for the Airport Express Line (New Delhi-Terminal 3) and the Grey Line (Dwarka-Dhansa Bus Stand), the metro will be operational from 3:15 AM on all other routes.

According to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), the organisers would pay the metro fee for half-marathon runners. DMRC will supply QR code tickets in accordance with their requirements. Runners will be able to ride the metro for free.

Runners in the half marathon will get wristbands with distinctive QR codes from the organisers. The metro will run at 15-minute intervals between 3:15 and 4 AM. Metro service will be available at 20-minute intervals between 4 and 6 AM. From 6 AM, the metro will be available on all corridors at their scheduled times.

Delhi Traffic Advisory For Half Marathon

At the same time, the Delhi Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory for the half marathon. Traffic in South and Central Delhi will be impacted till 11 AM on Sunday due to the half marathon.

According to the advisory, around 35,000 people are anticipated to compete in the Delhi Half Marathon, which will begin at 4.45 AM from Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

Half Marathon Timings

The Half Marathon, including Open and Police Cup, covering 21.09 kilometres will begin at 5 AM from JLN Stadium. The Elite Athlete Men and Women (Indian and International) Half Marathon 21.09 kilometres will begin at 6:50 AM from the JLN Stadium Complex.

The Open Half Marathon (10 km) will commence at 7.30 AM at the Jeevan Deep Building on Sansad Marg, according to the advisory.

According to the advisory, travelers are asked to cooperate in this fitness festival by avoiding the roads and intersections surrounding the Delhi Half Marathon and instead using the alternative routes.
