The officials, while providing details, stated that construction work on this section began in January 2022 and was scheduled to be completed in September 2025. However, the project got delayed due to delays in the construction of a bridge over the Agra Canal near Agra Kalindi Kunj. While the project got delayed by a few months, now it is fully ready for commercial purposes.
Earlier in May, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari visited the site and gave necessary directions to the officials. The 24-kilometer section of the expressway from Jaitpur Pushta Road to Faridabad Sector 65 and the 26-kilometer section from Sector 65 to Sohna are already operational. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Sohna-Dausa section of the expressway earlier in February 2023.
