Delhi National Lok Adalat 2025: The upcoming Delhi National Lok Adalat 2025 is set to provide vehicle owners with an opportunity to resolve outstanding traffic challans without the hassle of lengthy court processes. Scheduled for May 10, 2025, this initiative by the National Legal Services Authority aims to reduce the burden of pending cases and encourage timely payment of fines through attractive discounts.
Lok Adalat, which translates to 'People's Court,' serves as an alternative dispute resolution system in India. It allows for amicable settlements of cases, including traffic violations, that are either pending in court or at the pre-litigation stage. This approach not only alleviates pressure on traditional courts but also offers citizens a quicker resolution.

Each session will run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing ample time for individuals to attend and resolve their matters.
How To Register For Delhi Lok Adalat Token
To participate in Lok Adalat, vehicle owners must obtain a token. Here’s how to register:
- Visit the Official Website: Navigate to the Delhi Traffic Police portal at traffic.delhipolice.gov.in.
- Access the Lok Adalat Section: Click on the "Delhi State Legal Services Authority" option on the homepage, which will direct you to the token registration page.
- Fill in the Registration Form: Enter your name, contact number, vehicle registration details and information about any pending challans.
- Submit the Form: After filling out the form, click the "Submit" button.
- Download the Token: Once submitted successfully, you will receive a confirmation message with a link to download your Lok Adalat token. Make sure to save this for future reference.
Where Lok Adalat Sessions Will Be Held In Delhi
The sessions will take place at various courts across Delhi, including Dwarka Court, Karkardooma Court, Patiala House Court, Rohini Court, Rouse Avenue Court, Saket Court and Tis Hazari Court.

National Lok Adalat 2025: Steps To Settle Traffic Challan
- Download Your Challan: Starting from March 3, 2025, at 10 AM, visit the Delhi Police website to download your e-challan. Note that only 60,000 challans can be downloaded daily, with a total limit of 180,000. Ensure you act quickly to secure your participation for the March 8 session.
- Attend the Lok Adalat Session: On your scheduled date, go to the court specified in your challan notice. Present your case to the magistrate, who will help facilitate a resolution.
- Alternative Online Payment: If attending the Lok Adalat is not feasible, you can settle your challan online. Simply visit the Delhi Traffic Police website, input your vehicle or notice number in the challan section, review the details, and proceed with the payment.
