Earthquake In Delhi: Strong tremors were felt across Delhi-NCR on Friday night after a powerful earthquake hit Nepal. The earthquake was of magnitude 6.4 and struck Nepal at a depth of 10 km, said the National Center for Seismology. "Earthquake of Magnitude: 6.4, Occurred on 03-11-2023, 23:32:54 IST, Lat: 28.84 & Long: 82.19, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Nepal," National Center for Seismology posted on X, formerly Twitter.

 

The tremors were also felt in North India, including Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, and Bihar. However, no casualties or serious damage were officially reported. A video shared by news agency ANI shows people coming out of their house after earthquake in Patna. Soon after the earthquake, the residents of Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) rushed out of their homes. This is the third time in the last one month that quakes have struck Nepal.

 

Tushar, a resident of Noida, said that while he was watching television, he felt a little dizzy, and suddenly he came out of his house.

 

 

"I was lying on bed and it started shaking and I noticed even the ceiling fan was moving so I came out of my home," said a resident of Patna.

Minutes after the tremors were felt in several parts of the country, social media was flooded with videos of people coming out of their houses. Earlier on October 15, Delhi and NCR felt strong tremors, days after similar tremors were felt on October 3.
