Delhi NCR Rain Today: Moderate to heavy rain lashed parts of the National Capital Region on Tuesday, with the air quality index (AQI) remaining in the "satisfactory" category for the sixth consecutive day. As the monsoon season continues to strengthen its grip over NCR, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that Delhi is likely to experience overcast skies for the remainder of the day. 

The continuous downpours experienced over the past few days have effectively brought relief from the punishing summer heat that had previously gripped the national capital and its surrounding areas.

Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 27.2 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, According to the weather department, the day is expected to see a generally cloudy sky, with the possibility of light rain showers throughout. The humidity was 84 per cent at 8.30 AM. Despite the increased humidity, the overall weather conditions are expected to remain pleasant, with the maximum temperature likely to settle around a comfortable 33 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the air quality in Delhi was recorded in the "satisfactory" category, with the AQI reading 76 at 9 AM, as per the data provided by the Central Pollution Control Board. An AQI between zero and 50 is considered good, 51 and 100 satisfactory, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 and 300 poor, 301 and 400 very poor, and 401 and 500 severe.

Delhi Weather In The Next Five Days

The maximum and minimum temperatures in the city will hover around 35 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius for the next five days. The sky will remain generally cloudy and light to moderate rain is predicted till July 13. As per the weather forecast, the national capital city could witness heavy rain om July 14 and 15.
