Weather Alert: Despite the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting dense to moderate fog, Wednesday morning in Delhi, Noida, and Ghaziabad saw clear weather. The cities were not enveloped in fog, and visibility remained largely unaffected. Weather conditions were better than on Tuesday, with temperatures not registering any significant drop. Delhi's IGI Airport recorded a visibility of 300 metres at 7 am on Wednesday.
Delhi Weather Forecast
Over the next seven days, Delhi's minimum temperature is expected to be around 7 to 8 degrees Celsius, and the maximum will be around 19 to 20 degrees Celsius. This means that while there may be no fog at present, the cold will gradually increase.

Why Was There No Fog In Delhi-NCR?
According to weather experts, the fog was not as forecast due to low wind activity and a lack of moisture balance. Dense fog typically forms when the wind speed is very low and the humidity is high. These conditions did not fully develop on Wednesday.
What Will Weather Be Like On Christmas?
The weather in Delhi-NCR is expected to be normal on Christmas, December 25, but the relief won't last long. A dense fog alert has been issued for December 26, which could affect visibility and increase the cold.
Fog Alert Issued For Multiple States
According to IMD, fog and cold waves may cause trouble in many parts of the country in the coming days. Cold wave conditions are likely to prevail in eastern Uttar Pradesh and eastern Madhya Pradesh on December 23, while Bihar may experience severe cold from December 23 to 28.

Dense fog may blanket Agra, Bareilly, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Lucknow, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Ghaziabad (Hindon Airport), Amritsar, Hisar, Ambala and Bilaspur in Himachal for the next two days.
Rain And Snowfall Forecast In Mountains
Rain and snow are expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad on December 23 and again between December 27 and 29. Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand may experience heavy rain on December 28-29.
