Delhi-NCR Airport-Style Bus Terminal: The Uttar Pradesh government has announced plans for a massive, airport-style bus terminal in Sector 90, Noida. The facility will feature air-conditioned waiting zones, VIP passenger rooms, and a commercial hub with shopping spaces, movie theatres, and restaurants.

Officials are currently preparing to invite bids for the project. Once the construction begins, the terminal is expected to open to the public within two years.

- The proposed airport-style bus terminal in Sector 90 will feature fully air-conditioned waiting areas, VIP lounges and dedicated resting rooms.

- The facility will feature a large shopping complex, multiple food courts and restaurants, and a movie theatre.

- According to a report by NDTV, the terminal will operate 24 hours a day, ensuring safety and convenience for late-night and early-morning travellers.

- Direct bus services to major states, including Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir, will be launched, eliminating the need for passengers to first travel to Delhi or other nearby transit points.

- The government has also announced plans to introduce air-conditioned buses providing affordable, direct connectivity to the Noida International Airport.

- In a bid to strengthen city-wide connectivity, a new fleet of approximately 50 electric buses will be jointly operated by the Noida Authority and Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC). These buses will operate every 15 minutes and connect key locations, such as Botanical Garden, Sector 62, Greater Noida, and Surajpur.

- According to the report, approximately 50 per cent of the terminal's total area will be reserved for passenger facilities, while the remaining 45 per cent will be used for commercial establishments.

Overall, this terminal is expected to make bus travel more comfortable and premium for thousands of travellers.
