Delhi Weather News: There has been anticipation of humid days returning in Delhi-NCR, but a change in wind direction has brought relief to Delhi residents from the scorching heat and humidity. The shift to northwesterly winds has resulted in a slight decrease in maximum temperatures, making nighttime temperatures more comfortable. According to the weather department, Delhi can expect drizzle over the weekend, with strong winds predicted for today.
The change in wind direction has been credited for the shift in weather patterns. Previously, winds from the east brought moisture, but now the northwesterly winds are dry with a hint of chill. This change is noticeable in Delhi's weather.
On Thursday, Safdarjung recorded a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 24.5 degrees Celsius. The weather department predicts a possible 2-degree drop in temperature.
Delhi Weather Today: Partly Cloudy Skies With Strong Winds
- According to the latest weather forecast by the India Meteorological Department, the national capital is expected to witness cloudy skies with Northwesterly winds expected to reach 20-30 km/h, potentially gusting up to 40 km/h.
- Temperature: The Maximum temperature is likely to range between 33-35 degrees Celsius.
Delhi-NCR Weather Today
The weather pattern in the national capital region is expected to follow a similar pattern with partly cloudy skies and sustained wind of 20-30 kmph, gusting at 40 kmph. The weather will be similar in Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad.

Delhi Weather Forecast: Comfortable Days Ahead
The India Meteorological Department has forecast drizzle with gusty winds in the coming days, which may cause temperatures to drop further. The skies are expected to remain partly cloudy, turning into generally cloudy with strong winds of 20-30 kmph gusting at 40 kmph. The districts in the NCR area brace for a similar weather pattern.
