In a move to attract tourists and offer a taste of popular dishes from several states at one place, a new food court has recently opened at India Gate. The food court has two sections, North and South, with several stalls serving popular dishes from multiple states, like Telangana, Kerala, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Rajasthan, in one place. The food court at India Gate is an open space and spacious area with multiple outlets and small tables under shades.

The India Gate, nestled in the heart of the national capital, is a popular hangout spot for locals and tourists alike. Earlier, India Gate was a popular picnic destination for many, with several carrying boxes of food to enjoy with friends and family in its wide lawns. However, the government prohibited visitors from bringing food, luggage, bags and pets, marking an end to the picnic culture around the site.
To promote tourism and offer a taste of popular culture from around the country, a food court has recently opened at the India Gate. To reach the newly opened food court at India Gate, take the underpass and you will land at your destination. There are two sections of the food court, North and South, serving popular dishes from multiple states in one place and at affordable rates.
The newly opened food court is an open, spacious place with small tables shaded by umbrellas and surrounded by multiple stalls serving popular cuisines. Some of these stalls include a Hyderabadi cuisine stall by Telangana Tourism, Cafe Kudumbashree by the Government of Kerala, Roots from the hills of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam Food Counter, Rajasthani Food Counter, Sikkim Food Court, Aaharika serving Bihari cuisine, Meghalaya Collectives Cafe, Tamil Nadu Food Court, and MTDC Maharashtra Food Stall.
