Delhi: Security has been heightened near the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office and several government establishments in the national capital following an alert regarding a possible terror threat.

Police and security agencies have deployed additional personnel and increased barricading throughout the sensitive zone. CCTV surveillance has also been tightened to ensure real-time monitoring of the area around the office.

Security Tightened Near BJP Delhi Office

According to a report by Jagran.com, citing sources, Delhi Police, the CRPF, and other security agencies have been placed on high alert following intelligence reports suggesting a potential terror threat targeting the BJP headquarters and nearby government establishments.

"Intelligence inputs have triggered a terror alert in Delhi, prompting heightened security at the Bharatiya Janata Party headquarters and nearby government buildings," news agency IANS reported.

Since then, authorities have implemented stricter screening processes for everyone entering the premises and increased patrols in the surrounding areas.

A senior Delhi Police official stated that security aspects are currently being reviewed and additional forces will be deployed as needed.

Additional Personnel Deployed In THESE Areas

Security has been heightened near the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Delhi office and several government establishments in the national capital following a terror alert. Intelligence agencies suspect that the offices along DDU Marg could be targeted through suicide attacks, car bombs, gunfire, and IEDs.

"Agencies suspect possible targeting of DDU Marg offices using suicide attacks, car bombs, shootings, and IEDs," the report added.

In response, authorities have ramped up security, deploying additional personnel and increasing surveillance throughout the sensitive zone.

Link To Bengal?

At the same time, a BJP leader said that additional police personnel have been deployed and barricades have been set up near the BJP headquarters to prevent opposition protests following today's swearing-in ceremony in West Bengal.
