Delhi Pollution Alert: The air pollution in the national capital is continuously increasing. Although it was recorded in the poor category on Thursday, now it is rapidly moving towards the very poor category. Various areas of Delhi have already come under the grip of very poor category pollution. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), there is no possibility of improvement in the air quality in Delhi for the next three days.

According to the Air Quality Bulletin released by the CPCB, Delhi's AQI was recorded at 285 on Thursday. A day earlier, it was 230. That is, within 24 hours, it increased by 55 points. The AQI of 15 areas of Delhi remained in the very poor category.

On Wednesday, the AQI of Anand Vihar was 439, i.e., in the severe category, while on Thursday it was recorded at 419 with a partial decline.

Local reasons like smoke from vehicles, factories, and dust pollution are still more responsible for Delhi's pollution. Although the smoke coming due to the burning of stubble in Punjab and Haryana is also largely responsible for the pollution in Delhi, this year the smoke from stubble is not contributing much to Delhi's pollution.
