Delhi Road Accident: In a tragic road accident in Delhi's Janakpuri area, two people were killed after a speeding car hit a bicycle before crashing into a roadside jhuggi in the early hours of Thursday. The officials stated that the car was being driven by a teenager, and he lost control due to speeding. They further stated that two other people also got injured in the accident, adding that they are undergoing treatment in the nearby hospital.
While providing details, the officials stated that they received a PCR call about the accident around 3.30 am. They further stated that a PCR team and the local police reached the spot and rushed the injured to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared two of them dead on arrival. The officials further stated that two of the injured are undergoing treatment, adding that the identities of the deceased and injured are yet to be ascertained.
However, the initial inquiry suggests that the car was being driven by a 19-year-old young boy, and the vehicle first hit a bicycle and then crashed into a jhuggi. The officials confirmed that the driver is being questioned and legal action is being initiated.
