The upcoming Waste-to-Art dinosaur park at Sarai Kale Khan by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi is set to open to the public by the end of next month.

Officials claim that it will be the first dinosaur park in India with reptile replicas built completely out of scrap metal, tires, automobile parts, and garden waste.

The park will feature 15 dinosaur species, according to MCD officials, including Coelophysis, Brontosaurus, Velociraptor, Tsintaosaurus, Deinosuchus, Deinonychus, Rajasaurus, Prenocephale, Ankylosaurus, Triceratops, Amargasaurus, Spinosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Diplodocus, and Stegosaurus.

Three stegosaurus dinosaur replicas will greet visitors at the entrance. One is made from horticulture waste, another from scrap, and the third from car scraps.

Following that is a group of small, feathered Velociraptor dinosaurs that lived in desert habitats only in Asia. There will also be a 53x50 foot replica of the Tyrannosaurus Rex, which appeared in the Jurassic Park franchise and is regarded as one of the most terrifying carnivores of all time.

An official said, "We are making special efforts to give the right shape and voice and create an aura through sound and light effects. The replica will spit fire and its eyes will blink too."

The site will be built on 3.5 acres next to the Waste-to-Wonder Park and will share an entrance. According to the official, the ticket price will be raised accordingly.

MCD has added a lot of fun activities to the dinosaur park, keeping in mind the children.
