Delhi Traffic Advisory: In view of the upcoming ‘Sekhon Indian Air Force Marathon’ 2025 scheduled for Sunday, November 2, the Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory of traffic restrictions and diversions across several key routes in the city.

The marathon, organised by the Indian Air Force, for both armed forces personnel and civilians, is scheduled to start and finish at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

Sekhon Indian Air Force Marathon 2025: Key Details

- Half Marathon (5:30 AM) - JLN Stadium → Lodhi Road → Mathura Road → SubramaniamBharti Marg → Kartavya Path → Janpath → back to JLN Stadium

- Open 10 km (6:30 AM) - JLN Stadium → Lodhi Road → Mathura Road → Lodhi Road → Bhisma Pitamah Marg → back to Stadium

- Open 5 km (7:30 AM) - JLN Stadium → Lodhi Road → BP Marg → back to Stadium

Delhi Traffic Advisory For IAF Marathon 2025

According to the advisory, traffic movement will be regulated on key routes in the national capital from 4:45 AM to 10:00 AM on November 2, as over 10,000 participants are expected to join the event. However, the movement of emergency vehicles will be unaffected.

The Delhi Traffic Police will deploy additional traffic personnel to assist commuters and provide convenience.

Diversions On THESE Routes

- Diversions will be implemented at key points, including Bhisham Pitamah Marg, Lodhi Road, Aurobindo Marg, Subramaniam Bharti Marg, Janpath, Mathura Road, and Rajesh Pilot Marg, among others.

- Additional deployment of traffic personnel will be made to assist commuters and ensure minimal inconvenience, police said.

Here’s The List Of Alternative Routes

- North-South Corridor: Ring Road – Ashram Chowk – Sarai Kale Khan – ISBT Kashmere Gate

- East-West Corridor: DND Flyover – AIIMS – Dhaula Kuan – Naraina – ITO – Connaught Place

Authorities have advised commuters to avoid affected routes, use public transport and plan their journey in advance to avoid inconvenience.
