Delhi Traffic Advisory: The Delhi Half Marathon 2025 is set to commence on Sunday at 4:45 AM from Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, featuring multiple race categories including the Half Marathon Open & Police Cup, Elite Athletes run, and a 10 km open run. Participants will pass through key landmarks such as India Gate, Lodhi Road, Mathura Road, and Kartavya Path, leading to significant traffic restrictions and diversions along these busy routes during the event.
In view of the Delhi Half Marathon 2025, the Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory, warning of diversions and road closures from early morning until around 10 AM. Authorities have advised commuters to use alternative routes and plan their journey accordingly to avoid inconvenience.

Delhi Half Marathon 2025: Key Routes Details
- Half Marathon (21.097 km - Open & Police Cup): The race starts and finishes at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, covering key routes including Bhishma Pitamah Marg, Lodhi Road, Mathura Road, Zakir Hussain Marg, Kartavya Path, Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Marg, and Janpath near Hotel Le Meridien.

- Elite Athletes Route: The race starts at 6:50 AM, closely following the main half-marathon route with minor route variations near India Gate and the C-Hexagon area.
- Open 10 km Run: The race begins at Jeevan Deep Building on Sansad Marg, passes through Patel Chowk, Kartavya Path, India Gate, and concludes back at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
Traffic Restrictions For Delhi Half Marathon
According to the advisory, traffic restrictions and diversions will be in place from 4:45 AM to 10:00 AM on October 12, Sunday. While most routes will see restrictions, certain junctions will allow cross-traffic depending on runner density. Additionally, emergency vehicles will be exempt from these restrictions.
