Delhi Traffic Advisory: Congestion Expected On Several Key Routes From April 26-30, Check Alternate Options

Traffice Diversion In Delhi: The Delhi traffic police have issued a traffic advisory as Dhirender Shastri of Bagheshwar Dham is scheduled to recite Shree Hanumant Katha at DDA Ground, near Radisson Blu, Paschim Vihar, Delhi, from April 26 to April 30.

Special traffic arrangements have been incorporated to avoid congestion and regulate vehicular traffic. Since there will likely be a lot of traffic around the event site during this time, commuters are advised to plan their trip appropriately.

Traffic Diversions/Alternate Options

Traffic movement will be regulated and diverted as follows:

Jwala Heri Market to Nangloi

Option 1: Take Dr Major Ashwini Marg to Rohtak Road, then left towards Peeragarhi Chowk. 

Option 2: Take Chaudhary Balbir Singh Marg to Rohtak Road, then left towards Peeragarhi Chowk.

For commuters from Janakpuri District Centre to Nangloi

Option 1: Take the left to Meera Bagh-Nilothi Road from under the Outer Ring Road, and reach Udhyog Bhawan Metro Station and Nangloi DTC Depot via Jwala Heri 60 ft road.

Option 2: From the end of Outer Ring Road, use Bhaira Enclave underpass, Peeragarhi Flyover, U-turn under Mangolpuri Flyover, then right from Peeragarhi to Nangloi on Rohtak Road.

Closed Roads Near The Event Site

The following roads close to the event site will not be open to cars.

• P.S. Paschim Vihar West Road (National Market red light to St. Marks School) • Sai Baba Mandir Road (R/A Bhaira Enclave to Kashi Ram Cut)

• Service and side road from petrol pump to Radisson Blu (outside ring road towards Peeragarhi)

The Parking Plan for the Event Amid Delhi Traffic 

Option 1: From Jwala Heri Market, take Dr Major Ashwini Marg, Rohtak Road, Mianwali Nagar, Laxmi Narayan Road, and Ch. Prem Sukh Marg; turn left for P-1, then turn right for P-2 and P-3.

Option 2: Take the same route as before via Chaudhary Balbir Singh Marg-Rohatak Road.

From the Janakpuri District Centre 

Option 1: Meera Bagh-Nilothi Road. For P-1 and P-2, turn right on Prem Sukh Marg; for P-3, turn left.

Option 2: Turn right for P-1, left for P-2, and right for P-3 after going across the Bhaira Enclave underpass and Peeragarhi Flyover, then U-turn under the Mangolpuri Flyover, Mianwali Nagar, Laxmi Narayan Road, and Ch. Prem Sukh Marg.

From the Tikri Border

Option 1: Turn right at the Nangloi DTC Depot, then left for P-1 and P-2, then right at the Prem Sukh Marg cut, Jwala Puri 60-foot road.
