Delhi Traffic Advisory: Commuters in the national capital region (NCR) are advised to brace for traffic congestion on May 31, as the Mahasamadhi Divas celebrations at Guruji Ka Ashram (Bade Mandir) in Mehrauli is expected to draw a large crowd of 85,000-90,000 devotees from Delhi, NCR, and neighbouring states.

To manage the influx of visitors, the Delhi Traffic Police will be implementing strict traffic regulations on several key roads and junctions in the area from 9 am to 11 pm on the day of the event.

100 Feet Road Junction

Commuters are advised to avoid these routes if possible and make use of public transport, particularly the metro services, to minimise the disruption.

Delhi Traffic Advisory: Alternative Routes

Emergency vehicles are advised to use the Mehrauli-Gurugram Road instead of Dera Road and Mandi Road.

Heavy and medium commercial vehicles will be regulated on Bhati Mines Road, Bandh Road, Chhatarpur Road, and SSN Marg.

Devotees travelling from Faridabad and Gurugram are advised to reach Guruji Ka Ashram via the Dera border to avoid delays.
