The Delhi Traffic Police issued an advisory ahead of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 between Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday, April 27. People may face heavy traffic and delays in the surrounding areas. The match, set to start at 7:30 PM, is anticipated to draw a large crowd, which is likely to affect traffic flow on major routes including Bahadurshah Zafar Marg (BSZ), Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Marg, and Asaf Ali Road, are expected to be impacted.

Traffic Advisory For Spectators Attending The Match
Spectators attending the match are expected to arrive between 5:30 PM and 12:00 midnight, leading to potential traffic disruptions in the surrounding areas.
Traffic Restrictions And Diversions:
Diversions will be implemented on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and JLN Marg.
Heavy vehicles and buses will be prohibited from the following routes:
From Daryaganj to Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg
From Guru Nanak Chowk to Asaf Ali Road
Avoid The Following Routes Between 5:30 PM And 12:00 AM:
JLN Marg: Rajghat to Kamala Market Roundabout via Delhi Gate (both directions)
Asaf Ali Road: Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate
Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg: Delhi Gate to Ramcharan Aggarwal Chowk (both directions)

Entry To The Stadium:
Gates No. 1 to 8 are located in the southern part of the stadium, with the entry road accessible via Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg.
Gates No. 10 to 15 are located in the eastern part of the stadium, with the entry road near the Ambedkar Stadium Bus Terminal on JLN Marg.
Gates No. 16 to 18 are situated in the western part of the stadium, with access via Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, near the Petrol Pump.
Parking Arrangement:
Free parking and park-and-ride facilities are available at Mata Sundari Road, Rajghat Power House Road, and Veledome Road. Shuttle bus services will be provided from these locations to the stadium for the convenience of spectators.
Parking near the stadium will be strictly reserved for labelled vehicles only. It is mandatory for vehicles to display the parking label, vehicle number, and the mobile number of the driver or owner on the windscreen. Vehicles without valid labels will be prohibited from entering the area surrounding the stadium.

Labeled Parking Lots:
P-1: Opposite Gate No. 3, JP Park (for 4-wheelers)
P-2: Vikram Nagar Parking (Near Shaheedi Park, for 4-wheelers)
P-3: Near JJB/Prayas Office (for 2-wheelers)
P-4: Near GLNS School (Mute & Deaf School), JJB/Prayas Office (for 4-wheelers)
Entry to all these parking lots will be through Vikram Nagar Cut, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg only.
General Vehicle Parking:
No vehicles are allowed to be parked on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, JLN Marg, and Ring Road from Rajghat to IP Flyover. Vehicles parked in these areas will be towed, and legal action will be taken.

Spaces available for spectators and unlabelled vehicles are provided at:
Mata Sundari Parking
Shanti Van Parking
Rajghat Service Road, Rajghat Power House Road, and Veledrome Road (near IG Stadium)
Shuttle Service:
The shuttle service will operate starting two hours before the match and continue until one hour after the match ends. Spectators should use the service lane on Ring Road between I.P. Flyover and Rajghat Crossing for pick-up and drop-off when using app-based taxi services.
