Delhi Weather: The lowest temperature in Delhi dropped by a few degrees on Saturday due to a monsoon trough that crossed over the capital, according to India Meteorological Department (IMD) officials. The trough brought mild to moderate rainfall to the area. After the rain, there were reports of waterlogging and tree falls in various areas of Delhi.
Similar showers are expected over the next two days, according to IMD officials, and the reason is attributed to the passing monsoon trough.
The lowest temperature on Saturday dropped to 25 degrees Celsius, two degrees below average, from 29.6°C the day before. However, the maximum temperature increased somewhat to 35.6 degrees Celsius, up from 34.3 degrees Celsius the day before. The maximum temperature is expected to fall to 33 degrees Celsius by Monday, with the minimum trending upward in the coming days, according to IMD.

There was some moisture from the Arabian Sea as well as Bay of Bengal,” said Krishna Mishra, a scientist at IMD.
