Delhi Aiport Flight News: Flight operation normalised at Delhi airport after earlier disruption by adverse weather conditions in Delhi. Indira Gandhi International Airport had diverted flights due to weather conditions in Delhi and neighbouring areas. Quoting sources from Delhi airport, news agency ANI reported that one flight was diverted to Ahmedabad and two flights to Jaipur, while several other flights were delayed.

The latest advisory issued by the Delhi airport confirmed that flights are operating as normal despite some impact on operations due to weather conditions.

In its latest advisory, the Delhi Airport said, "Following the advisory issued by India Meteorological Department this morning, we would like to confirm that the airport is operating as normal, despite some impact on flight operations due to adverse weather conditions."

Heavy rain and a duststorm hit Delhi and the NCR early Friday, causing waterlogging in several areas and disrupting air travel.

The Delhi airport issued an advisory to flyers saying some flights have been impacted. "Passengers are requested to contact the airline concerned for updated flight info," it said.

Taking to X, Air India also informed its passengers that due to the weather in Delhi, flight operations in parts of northern India were affected.

“Some of our flights to and from Delhi are being delayed or diverted, which is likely to impact our overall flight schedule. We are doing our best to minimise disruptions," the airline posted on X at 5.51 am.
