Delhi Weather: Residents of Delhi awoke to beautiful weather on Wednesday, with overcast skies giving some relief from the heat. The India Meteorological Department forecasts a partly overcast sky throughout the day.

In certain areas of the city, lightning, thunderstorms, and light rain are expected. Today, gusty winds of 30 to 40 kmph, with a brief peak of 50 kmph, are also possible.

Many Delhiites found refuge from the weather in the early morning hours. Throughout the day, there will probably be sporadic weather activity.

Delhi had temperatures as low as 24.6 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, which was 2.3 degrees below average, and as high as 33.1 degrees Celsius, which was 6.9 degrees below the season's average.

June 4: The maximum temperature is expected to be between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius; there will be thunderstorms, light showers, and strong winds of up to 60 kmph during storm activity.

June 5: With overcast sky and a potential of thunderstorms, lightning, and winds of up to 50 kmph, temperatures might reach 38 degrees Celsius.

June 6: The maximum temperature is anticipated to be between 38 and 40 degrees Celsius on this day with partly overcast sky and little chance of rain.

June 7: The weather is still dry and partially overcast, with mild evenings and highs of 38 to 40 degrees Celsius.
