Delhi Weather Update: North India continues to struggle with a severe air quality crisis and plunging temperatures. On Thursday, the capital region recorded its coldest morning of the season so far, with the mercury dropping to 10.1 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Delhi surpassed the previous season-low of 10.2 degrees Celsius recorded on November 21. The capital city has experienced a sharp decline in temperatures over the past few days as cold northwesterly winds intensified.
IMD forecasts indicate that the minimum temperature is likely to dip further, potentially reaching 10 degrees Celsius on Friday.
