Delhi Weather: A much-needed break from the heat is in store for Delhi on Saturday night, as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) anticipates thunderstorms and heavy rains. The lowest temperature in the city was 26.8 degrees Celsius, which is somewhat lower than the seasonal normal, while the highest temperature is projected to be about 35 degrees Celsius.

At 8:30 am, the observed relative humidity was 77%, suggesting high atmospheric moisture levels prior to the predicted rains.

With an Air Quality Index (AQI) value of 82 on Saturday morning, Delhi's air quality stayed in the "satisfactory" range, according to statistics from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). AQI levels between 51 to 100 are regarded as adequate and have no effect on health.

With bright, blue skies around the nation's capital, the AQI has stayed at a reasonable level for the second day in a row.
