Delhi Weather: The Delhi Meteorological Centre has issued an alert for heavy rain in Delhi-NCR over the weekend, January 11 and 12, Saturday and Sunday. As a result, temperatures in Delhi NCR are expected to see a sharp drop, leading to a chilly weather and a fresh spell of cold wave. The rain will be accompanied by icy winds. Delhi saw sunshine on Thursday and Friday, bringing some respite with temperatures rising by one to two degrees Celsius and reducing the impact of cold waves. However, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) continues to issue yellow alerts for dense fog in the region, impacting mornings, evenings, and nights.

Delhi Weather: Cold To Intensify Due To Rain
A rain alert has been issued for January 11 and 12. According to the Delhi Meteorological Centre, nights in Delhi-NCR are currently becoming colder due to rapidly falling night temperatures, while daytime temperatures remain stable. After the rain, the night temperature may decrease further.
Delhi-NCR Weather Forecast
The Delhi Meteorological Centre has released its weather forecast for Friday. The forecast suggests that Delhi residents can expect a maximum temperature of 20 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 6 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature in Noida is expected to be 18 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature will be 8 degrees Celsius. In Ghaziabad, the maximum temperature may rise to 20 degrees Celsius, and the minimum will dip to 5 degrees Celsius. In Gurugram, the maximum might reach 19 degrees Celsius, and the minimum is expected to be 8 degrees Celsius.
