Delhi Election 2025: As the February 5 elections approach, AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal expressed confidence in his party's performance, stating, “We are roaming all over Delhi. The atmosphere is very good. People are happy with our work.” He warned that if the BJP comes to power, it would jeopardise essential services, leading to a potential monthly loss of Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 for Delhi families.

On Sunday, Kejriwal alleged, "The BJP has stated that if they come to power, they will end the five essential services provided to Delhiites, which would result in a loss of Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 per month for the people." He stated that under AAP's governance, an average family in Delhi saves around Rs 25,000 monthly, thanks to free electricity, water, education and healthcare. Kejriwal warned that these savings would be jeopardised if the BJP assumes control. He further criticised the BJP for indulging in "unprecedented hooliganism" in the city, asserting that the people would respond with their votes.

On Saturday, Kejriwal noted that even BJP supporters benefit from the AAP government’s schemes, urging them to vote for his party in the upcoming Assembly elections. He highlighted the launch of the ‘Bachat Patra’ campaign, which aims to showcase the savings residents have achieved through AAP's welfare initiatives. “People can note how much they are saving through our free welfare initiatives,” he stated.

Additionally, Kejriwal announced new schemes in the party's manifesto, including the Sanjeevani Yojana for free healthcare for the elderly and free bus rides for students, with a 50 per cent concession on Metro fares. He estimated these initiatives could add another Rs 10,000 to monthly savings for families.

The Delhi Assembly will hold elections on February 5, with results expected on February 8. AAP is aiming for a third consecutive term after winning 62 of the 70 seats in the 2020 elections.
