Bandikui-Jaipur Link: The Bandikui-Jaipur link on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, connecting the expressway to Jaipur, is completed and open for trial from 8 am on Wednesday. The expressway is under trial for 10 days, hence passengers will not have to pay any toll charges during the trial period. 

The traffic inflow has begun from Khuri interchange on Wednesday, and if everything goes well, the inflow of traffic from other interchanges will also be allowed in the next two to three days. The collection of toll charges will commence once the corridor starts operation permanently after the trial goes well.

The Bandikui- Jaipur link, on the Delhi-Mumbai expressway, has been built to connect Jaipur with Delhi in just 3 hours. According to the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), the 66.91-kilometre-long highway was constructed at a cost of Rs 1368 crore. Motorcycles, tractors, and other prohibited vehicles will not be allowed on the corridor during the trial period. 

Proposed Toll On Bandikui-Jaipur Link

Although there are no toll charges on the corridor during the trial period, all the vehicles will be able to run without any toll charges for ten days, during the trial, Patrika reported. The route is split almost equally between Dausa (32.7 km) and Jaipur (34.1 km) districts. It includes five toll booths and a virtual toll plaza at Shyamsinghpura. Cars will be charged around Rs 150 for a one-way trip.

Proposed Toll

Rs 150 toll on the 66.91 km Jaipur-Bandikui Expressway.

Rs 550 to Rs 560 toll on the Jaipur-Bandikui-Sohna Expressway.

Rs 130 toll on the Sohna to Gurugram six-lane highway.

Rs 680 to Rs 690 toll between Jaipur and Delhi.

The aforementioned toll prices are for private car drivers.
