Delhi-NCR Weather: The air quality in Delhi was recorded in the ‘poor category’ for the second consecutive day on Wednesday morning, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) reading of 210. The AQI recorded on Tuesday was 201. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, an AQI between zero and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 to 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 ‘moderate’, 201 to 300 ‘poor’, 301 to 400 ‘very poor’, and 401 to 500 ‘severe’.

The minimum temperature recorded by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in the national capital on Wednesday was 18.3 degrees Celsius, which is 1.3 degrees below the average temperature. The weather department has predicted the maximum temperature to be around 33 degrees Celsius, with a ‘mist haze’ enveloping the sky in the morning hours. The mist is predicted to clear out as the day progresses. 

The IMD has predicted the relative humidity in the city to be 89 per cent at 8:300 am. EWS forecasts suggest that air quality will remain "poor" from October 14 to 16 and may dip into the "very poor" category afterward, similar to the levels observed in mid-June.

Delhi-NCR Weather: Tomorrow’s Forecast

The weather in New Delhi for tomorrow will hover between 32.3 degrees Celsius and 24.2 degrees Celsius. No rain has been predicted by the weather department, making it the perfect opportunity for outdoor activities. 

Noida AQI

The AQI in Noida was recorded at 267, the highest since the morning at 7 am. As the day progressed, the AQI levels in Noida came down to come down to 205. Temperatures are expected to hover between 31 degrees Celsius and 19 degrees Celsius.

Noida skies remained misty with a thick haze enveloping the clear sky in the morning. However, as the day progresses, the sky is expected to clear out. 

Gurugram Weather Forecast

Temperatures in Gurugram are predicted to lie between 32 degrees Celsius (maximum temperature) and 23.5 degrees Celsius (minimum temperature). The AQI in Gurugram reached 292, categorised ‘poor’ in the morning with a thick mist over the sky. No rainfall is expected throughout the day. The weather department has predicted the humidity to reach up to 85 per cent.

The combination of high humidity and mist may lead to reduced visibility, so residents are advised to take necessary precautions while traveling. However, with no rain in the forecast, it’s a good day for outdoor activities.
