Delhi-NCR Weather Today:The National Capital Region woke up to drizzle, and the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow alert on Monday, forecasting moderate to heavy rains and scattered showers at many places, including Delhi, Greater Noida, Noida, and Ghaziabad. An orange alert for heavy rain was issued for Gurgaon and Faridabad.
According to the IMD’s forecast, intermittent rain is expected across the entire Delhi NCR, including Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Faridabad, and Greater Noida, until September 6.
On August 31, the maximum temperature was 32.1 Degrees Celsius,and the minimum was 24.5 Degrees Celsius. Winds are from the SE at 10-15 kmph throughout the day with generally cloudy skies and one or two spells of light to moderate rain or thundershowers, with heavy rain possible at isolated places during night or early hours.
Delhi Yamuna Water Level
The water level of Delhi's Yamuna crossed the danger mark on Sunday morning. In the city, the warning level is 204.50 metres, the danger level is 205.33 metres, and evacuation procedures begin at 206 metres.

The river has risen above 205.33 metres and continues to climb due to persistent heavy rainfall in Delhi, which has been ongoing for the past few days.

Delhi AQI (Air Quality Index)
The air quality index (AQI) of Delhi NCR, which had earlier risen above 100, has now dropped below 100. According to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, the AQI stood at 79 at 4 PM on Sunday, placing it in the ‘satisfactory’ category. The CPCB defines AQI levels as follows: 0-50 is 'good', 51-100 'satisfactory', 101-200 'moderate', 201-300 'poor', 301-400 'very poor', and 401-500 'severe'.
