Online Scam Alert: Online scamming is nothing new, and it is a carnival for cybercriminals to practice their craft when it comes to celebrity shows. For this reason, the Delhi Police warned everyone to click on only authenticated sites and to be wary of internet frauds ahead of Diljit Dosanjh's Dil-Luminati event.

However, an instance of fraudulent ticket sales for the "Dil-Luminati Tour" by Diljit Dosanjh in India has emerged.

According to reports, a woman and her friend lost Rs 15,000 and Rs 6,000, respectively, after falling for an internet fraud. The woman said that the conman gave her his Aadhaar card in an effort to gain her trust, but she later acknowledged that believing him was a "foolish" decision. She did, however, take the correct action and report the fraud as soon as she realised it.

“This account Dharmendra Singh (Crigyan07) has scammed me and a few more on X by selling fake tickets for Diljit Dosanjh’s show. He took 15k from me, 6k from my friend, and god knows how much money from others,” the woman wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).

The victim attempted but was unable to contact Dharmendra Singh with a different number. He has also blocked her on all social media sites, so there is no way for her to get in touch with Singh. Still, she attempted to use her social media following to exert pressure on Dharmendra. She asked her followers to message Singh many times.

“Kya pata darr ke ya sharam khaa kr paise vapas kar de [Who knows, maybe out of fear or shame, he’ll refund it],” she wrote.

In response, users noted that the tweet has been making the rounds on social media since a lot of fraudsters are hunting for their next victim. Fans were advised not to purchase tickets using this method, regardless of the seller's claims.
