A day after the two accused of the firing incident outside Bollywood actor Disha Patani's house were killed in an encounter with the UP Police, a member of the Goldy Brar gang shared a social media post condoling the deaths and warning that no one involved in this would be forgiven.

The said Facebook post was shared by Rohit Godara of the Goldy Brar gang, which claimed responsibility for the firing outside Patani's house in UP's Bareilly.

In the post, Godara called the two accused 'martyrs', adding that their death as a huge loss. In the post, written in Hindi, Godara said, “You shout about ‘Sanatan’ from one side of your mouth, and then the people who fight for Sanatan are killed. This is not fair".

Adding a warning, Godara further said, "Whoever is involved in this, whether they are rich or powerful, they will not be forgiven, no matter how long it takes".

Accused killed in encounter in Ghaziabad

On September 12, two bike-borne assailants opened fire outside Disha Patani's ancestral home in Bareilly. The STFs identified the accused and launched a manhunt. 

On Wednesday evening, the joint operation by the Haryana Special Task Force (STF), the Delhi Police Special Cell, and the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) tried to nab them, during which an encounter started and both the accused were killed in Ghaziabad.

Accused's family alleges fake encounter

The slain criminals were identified as Ravindra of Kahni village in Rohtak and Arun of Mayur Vihar in Sonipat. Arun's family has, however, claimed that the encounter was fake and that no case of assault was earlier registered against him.

Demanding a high-level investigation into the matter, the family denied that the young man seen in the photo of the shooters released by the Uttar Pradesh Police was Arun.
