In a chilling incident, a minor girl was allegedly raped by a truck driver after they exchanged phone numbers and Insta IDs while she was travelling in his truck with her father two months ago.
The accused allegedly raped the girl after the accused forced her to consume intoxicants on October 26. The police have filed an FIR in the incident based on a complaint by the victim's sister and arrested the accused.
According to the FIR, the incident took place between 7:00 pm on October 26 and 4:00 am on October 27. She alleged in her complaint that the girl had gone to the market at around 7 pm on October 26.
The family started looking for her when she did not return. However, they failed to find her and returned home. The next day, at around 4:30 in the morning, the girl returned home on her own.
The police said that the accused and the victim exchanged phone numbers and Instagram IDs while she was travelling in his truck with her father two months ago.

Faridabad Police spokesperson said, "That is how he obtained the girl’s contact number. He had shared his phone number and Instagram ID with the girl, and they communicated via phone and on social media".
"On October 26, after talking on the phone, the man had arrived in Faridabad from Mathura in a car with two other youths. In the evening, he picked up the girl, dropped his companions on the way and drove to Vrindavan. While returning to Faridabad, he allegedly raped the girl in the vehicle before dropping her near her home around 3-3.30 am”, the spokesperson added. The accused is likely to be produced in court on Saturday.
The FIR mentions that the four youths who kidnapped the girl, forcibly intoxicated her after taking her to a deserted location and then gangraped her.
