Special Diwali Flights: SpiceJet has launched special festive flights to enhance connectivity to Bihar ahead of Chhath Puja and Diwali. These additional services aim to accommodate the surge in travel demand during the festive season.

According to the latest update, SpiceJet has introduced new flights to Patna from Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, along with additional frequencies from Delhi and Mumbai to Darbhanga. These new services complement the airline’s existing routes from Delhi, Mumbai, and Guwahati to Patna, and from Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi to Darbhanga. Flight schedules have also been adjusted to better serve passengers during the festive rush.

In addition, SpiceJet has launched special non-stop Diwali flights connecting Ayodhya with Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad, ensuring smoother travel for devotees and festival-goers. These daily non-stop services began on October 8, 2025, offering seamless access to the Shri Ram Temple during the auspicious Diwali period.

Separately, Air India has announced the introduction of 174 weekly flights on various domestic and international routes starting October 26, 2025. This expansion aims to strengthen connectivity between major Indian cities and key destinations in Southeast Asia.

SpiceJet’s new festive flights began operating from October 10, 2025, in a phased manner.

"SpiceJet had recently launched special daily non-stop Diwali flights connecting Ayodhya with Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad starting October 8, 2025, offering devotees and tourists seamless access to the Shri Ram Temple during the auspicious period of Diwali," the release noted.
