Formula Night Race in Navi Mumbai: With an agreement between RPPL and the Maharashtra government, Navi Mumbai is set to hold Maharashtra’s first night racing event.

Formula Night Race: Here’s What Chief Minister Said

After signing the agreement, the Chief Minister said that the Navi Mumbai Street Race is a historic milestone in Maharashtra's motorsport journey, showcasing the capability to host world-class events that boost tourism and create employment opportunities.

CM said that the race will not only inspire young racers but also motivate young talents in fields like engineering, technology, and event management. He appreciated the efforts of RPPL and all government departments collaborating to present an event that meets the highest international standards. This race is a crucial part of Maharashtra's vision to emerge as a leading destination for global sports and cultural extravaganza.

Where Will The Race Take Place In Navi Mumbai

The race will start from Palm Beach Road in Navi Mumbai and proceed through the Boulevard to Nerul Lake. A specially designed 3.7-kilometre circuit with 14 challenging turns will test the drivers' skills during the race.

Navi Mumbai Formula Night Race Schedule

Although the agreement has been signed, the exact date of the race has not been announced. However, the event is scheduled to take place in December.

What's Special About The Racing Cars

The race will feature cars like the Wolf GB08 Thunder single-seater, a single-seater prototype car built with a carbon fibre chassis. These cars are equipped with a one-litre engine designed specifically for racing, providing up to 220 horsepower.

Who Will Participate In Navi Mumbai Formula Car Racing

Six teams will participate in the event, including Goa Aces, JA Racing, Speed Demons Delhi, Kolkata Royal Tigers, Kiccha Kings Bengaluru, Hyderabad Blackbirds, and Chennai Turbo Riders. Most of these teams are owned by Bollywood stars.
