Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Monday, green-flagged the poll preparations in Madhya Pradesh with his address to the BJP workers at the mega gathering of cadre. He launched a scathing attack on the Congress over alleged 'corruption and appeasement' while highlighting the developmental works undertaken by Shivraj Sigh Chouhan's government in the state.

In his bid to reach women voters, the Prime Minister said the opposition's "ghamandia" (arrogant) alliance reluctantly supported the Women's Reservation Bill. PM Modi also took a jibe at the reluctance of Congress to accept the government's developmental initiatives such as UPI and the construction of the New Parliament Building. Addressing the huge gathering, he promised to fulfil 'remaining promises' if BJP returns to the power.

The Prime Minister did not mince words when he criticized the Congress party, referring to it as synonymous with "bad governance" and 'kuniti' (misdeeds). He accused the Congress of wreaking havoc in states where it held power, citing instances of corruption running into crores of rupees.

"Congress means bad governance and 'kuniti'; it destroyed party-ruled states with crores of corruption," PM Modi remarked. 

PM Modi underscored the importance of clean and efficient governance, suggesting that it was the cornerstone of the BJP's approach to governing in Madhya Pradesh. He emphasized the party's commitment to transparency and development, highlighting the positive impact of various government schemes on the lives of the people.

During the speech, the Prime Minister encouraged first-time voters to actively participate in the democratic process and make informed choices in the upcoming elections. He urged them to consider the track record of parties and candidates when casting their votes.

PM Modi's address to first-time voters in Bhopal reiterated the BJP's dedication to good governance and development in Madhya Pradesh. As the state gears up for future elections, his words are expected to resonate with young voters, who are poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the state's political landscape.
