Ghaziabad School Closed Tomorrow: In view of the continuous heavy rains in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad district and the warning issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the district administration has taken the decision to close all schools, colleges and educational institutions from class nursery to class 12 on September 3, 2025, Wednesday.
This order will be applicable to all boards, like CBSE, ICSE, UP Board and other private educational institutions.
Heavy Rain And Safety Concerns In Ghaziabad
Heavy rains have disrupted normal life in Ghaziabad for the last few days. The administration has taken this step in view of the possibility of waterlogging on roads, traffic disruption and flood-like situations. The Meteorological Department has also warned of heavy rains in the next 24 hours.
"The safety of children and staff of educational institutions is our first priority. This decision has been taken in view of the possible problems arising due to heavy rains, such as waterlogging and traffic disruptions,” said District Magistrate Ravindra Mandhad, as quoted by jagran.com.
BSA OP Yadav clarified that the order will apply to all educational institutions, whether government, semi-government or private. This includes schools, colleges and other educational institutions from nursery to class 12. During this period, all educational activities, such as classes, examinations and other school-related activities, will remain suspended.
The administration has appealed to the parents to keep their children at home and not go out unnecessarily.
