Mahakumbh 2025, renowned as the world's largest spiritual gathering, has consistently set records for its massive influx of devotees. The festival is set to hold three more world records this year. The team of Guinness Book of World Records has arrived to oversee attempts over these records.

The Maha Kumbh will showcase its commitment to cleanliness and environmental conservation by attempting three Guinness World Records. These records will be achieved through large-scale cleaning initiatives on the riverbanks and within the water bodies. This year, the Mela Authority aims to surpass one of its previous records while setting two new benchmarks.

During the 2019 Kumbh Mela, three world records were established including a record of operating more than 500 shuttle buses simultaneously. Another record was made for carrying out a cleanliness drive by 10,000 sanitation workers. In the same sequence, a record was made for taking hand prints of 7,500 people in eight hours.
