"The Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had a telephonic conversation with me and obtained details of Gujarat's preparedness as a border state and the advance planning undertaken by the state government in the current situation of tension on the border and provided necessary guidance in this regard.
The Prime Minister also obtained details about the adequate steps taken by the state government for the safety and security of citizens, especially in sensitive districts like Kutch, Banaskantha, Patan, Jamnagar, which are bordered by Pakistan," Patel posted on X.
Earlier in the day, wreckage of a 'drone-like' object was discovered in a remote area near Khavda village in Gujarat's Kutch district, close to the India-Pakistan border. However, authorities have yet to confirm the drone’s origin or whether it was shot down or crashed after striking a power line early Thursday morning.
