Gujarat Pathology Lab Fire Updates: A massive fire broke out at a Dev Pathology Lab in the busy Kala Nala area of Bhavnagar, Gujarat on Wednesday morning. Locals immediately responded to the incident and evacuated children and the elderly.

According to jagran.com, Bhavnagar Collector Manish Bansal stated that the fire broke out at around 9 am in the Samikh Complex on Kalubhar Road in Bhavnagar city. Upon receiving information about the fire, a team from the fire department, ambulance, and police immediately arrived at the scene.

"The fire broke out in the basement and engulfed the entire building. We have rescued people on stretchers and ladders. We have rescued 15-20 people so far. There is no casualty. Firefighting and the cooling process are underway. More than 50 firefighters and 6 fire brigades are deployed here,” Fire Officer Pradyumansingh Jadeja told ANI.

The children and other patients admitted were safely evacuated by breaking the glass. They were shifted to Sir T Hospital, Bhavnagar Medical College. Fortunately, due to the intensive cooperation and efforts of firefighters, ambulance, police and local people, there were no casualties or injuries. Initial investigations have not yet determined the cause of the fire.
