Dog Attack News: The dog menace doesn't seem to die down soon as a two-and-a-half-year-old boy was mauled to death by a stray dog in Gujrat's Morbi. Identified as Sohan Damor, the toddler was attacked by a stray dog on Wednesday near a factory in Morbi city.

The incident took place when his mother and father were working at the factory on Matel Road in Morbi City. The toddler was seriously hurt and taken to a hospital in Wankaner, where he was declared brought dead.

Police said they have started an inquiry after a case was filed. According to research, stray dog bites carry harmful germs that, if not treated, can lead to serious and even deadly diseases in humans.

Earlier, on July 1, a three-year-old toddler was killed by a gang of nearly six stray dogs, at Damnagar town, Amreli district in Gujarat. The incident happened in broad daylight in a field when the toddler's family members were working on the farm and he was playing.

The dogs suddenly charged at the little boy, Ronak Rathva, pulling him away and biting him all over his neck, ears, head and back. The kid was taken to the hospital by the family in a hurry, but he passed away there.
