Monsoon In Gujarat

Although the state has been receiving rainfall for the past several days, the monsoon has yet to enter the region. According to the Meteorological Department's forecast, the monsoon will officially enter Gujarat around June 15.

According to the Meteorological Department's model, no active system is currently present in Gujarat that could catalyse a rapid monsoon arrival. Meanwhile, the monsoon has already made its presence felt in eastern states, and its early arrival in Maharashtra is attributed to a cyclone system in the Arabian Sea that has shifted towards the state.
