Gujarat Weather: The Meteorological Department has forecast light rain in parts of South Gujarat and Saurashtra. As per the weather body, scattered rains are likely in the state till June 16. Monsoon is slowly advancing towards Gujarat. Monsoon showers are likely to hit the state next week. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rainfall is likely at scattered places in Gir Somnath, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Navsari, Tapi, Dang and Valsad districts daily till June 12.

On June 13 and 14, light to moderate rain is likely at isolated places in Gir Somnath, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Dahod, Panchmahal, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Tapi, Dang, Navsari and Valsad districts.

On June 15, light to moderate rain is likely at scattered places in Junagadh, Gir Somnath, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Dahod, Panchmahal, Kheda, Anand, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Tapi, Dang, Navsari and Valsad districts.

On June 16, light to moderate rain is likely at isolated places in Porbandar, Rajkot, Junagadh, Gir Somnath, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Botad, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Dahod, Panchmahal, Kheda, Anand, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Tapi, Dang, Navsari and Valsad districts.

Scorching Temperature In Certain Parts

As per the data from the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature is increasing in Gujarat. The temperature in the state touched 41 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in the state was recorded between 33.4 degrees Celsius to 41 degrees Celsius. Kandla Airport was the hottest area in the state at 41 degrees Celsius. While the temperature in Dwarka was 33.4 degrees Celsius.
